1. Introduction

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our personalized children’s book platform (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service.

Our Service allows parents and guardians to create personalized children’s books by providing a child’s name, a child’s photo, and an optional short dedication message. Some aspects of the Service may use Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) technologies to assist in personalization, illustration, layout, or production.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or provide personal information. By using the Service, you confirm that you are a parent, legal guardian, or an adult authorized to provide a child’s information.

Children may view books created for them but may not create accounts or submit any information.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.

4. Personalization Inputs (Name, Photo, Optional Dedication)

To personalize a book, the Service allows you to provide :

  • Child’s first name
  • Child’s photo
  • An optional short dedication message

No other content may be uploaded or submitted.

By providing these inputs, you confirm that:

  • You are legally authorized to provide the child’s information
  • The photo is appropriate for children and does not contain harmful or sensitive content
  • The dedication message is family‑friendly and non‑commercial
  • You have the right to use and share the photo

We may refuse or remove photos or messages that violate these standards.

5. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We may use AI technologies to support certain parts of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Personalization logic
  • Automated layout or formatting
  • Illustration enhancement or generation
  • Quality checks or content adaptation
  • Production workflow optimization

AI involvement means:

  • Outputs may vary slightly from preview images
  • AI‑generated elements may contain minor imperfections
  • AI systems do not make decisions about children, profiles, or accounts
  • AI systems do not store or reuse your child’s photo for training or external purposes
  • AI systems operate only on the data you provide for the purpose of creating your book

You acknowledge that AI‑generated or AI‑assisted content is provided “as is” and may not always be error‑free. We reserve the right to adjust or regenerate AI‑assisted content to ensure quality and child‑appropriate standards.

6. Child Protection & Safety

We are committed to protecting children’s privacy and safety. Accordingly:

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
  • We do not allow children to create accounts or submit data.
  • We only collect the minimum information needed to personalize a book.
  • We do not use children’s information for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
  • We do not sell or trade children’s personal information.
  • We do not share children’s information with third parties except as required to produce and deliver your book or comply with legal obligations.

If we learn that information was submitted by a child without adult authorization, we will delete it promptly.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We follow industry‑standard practices to protect personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains our data handling in detail. Key principles include:

  • Minimal Data Collection: Only a child’s name, photo, and optional dedication are collected.
  • Secure Storage: All personal data is stored using encryption and secure servers.

8. Security

You retain ownership of the child’s photo and dedication message you provide. By submitting them, you grant us a limited license to use them solely for creating, printing, and delivering your personalized book.

AI‑generated or AI‑assisted content produced through the Service is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied, distributed, or used outside the Service without permission.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload inappropriate, harmful, or illegal photos
  • Submit dedication messages containing offensive, hateful, explicit, or harmful content
  • Attempt to access or modify data belonging to others
  • Interfere with platform operations or security
  • Use the Service for commercial or unauthorized purposes
  • Misuse or attempt to extract children’s personal information
  • Attempt to manipulate or misuse AI systems

Violations may result in account termination and legal action.

11. Orders, Payments & Refunds

All purchases are processed through secure third‑party payment providers. Prices, taxes, and shipping fees are displayed at checkout.

Refunds are available only in accordance with our Refund Policy.

12. Third‑Party Services

We may use third‑party providers (e.g., payment processors, printing partners). These providers have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or compromise platform security.

Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Service.
